Great service and great prices! I had a dead battery across the street at the gas station and Manny, who was also working as cashier, was kind enough to being over a portable charger and got my car started! Then the manager, even though late in the day, changed the battery! I was amazed since i was preparing to uber home and come back in the morning. Definitely recommend this repair shop for all your repair needs!

Reached out over the weekend for a quote for brake service. No one replied, so I called Tuesday and brought the car in and was told I would get the car back Wednesday. The brakes were fine so they told me I have an oil leak and was quoted around $200 to find the leak AND repair. I called them and asked if the leak was fixed and they said they didn’t find a leak and told me to drive it for a week and bring it back, and that I could just come pick the car up. Showed up to pick the car up and got charged $260 for wiping some oil off of the engine block, for ZERO work actually done to repair the car. When I asked if I would still be charged for this leak I was charged for that they couldn’t even find after driving it for a week, they said yes there will be a new charge and no idea of an estimate of what that would be. I have been here before for service but will not be returning back. Imagine taking your car somewhere that claims they do free checkups and then getting charged $260 for no work done on your car. And then being told to bring it back to be charged more for an issue that never got handled or located in the first place. I would gladly bring it back if the $260 was for work but nope, the car is the same as I brought it in, just money out the pocket for ZERO issues resolved. Unbelievable and predatory behavior preying on making issues up once you bring the car in with no customer service whatsoever to retain customers.

I had a squeaky brake issue and an exhaust issue that the team took care of in short order and was very affordable. Manny was the lead person and communicated the issues and got approval before doing any of the work. The whole team was great to work with and I'll use again in the future.

If you live in Arlington and need routine car maintenance taken care of Arlington Autocare is your place to go. They are very professional and upfront. They always call to tell you what they’ve found and ask if you would like to move ahead with service before doing any work. Their rates are very competitive and their mechanics are top notch. Happy to take all my vehicles here and am so glad such a reliable auto shop is available in the neighborhood.

2018 Audi TT The team at Arlington Autocenter was able to accurately pinpoint the issue, offer a cost-effective solution as well as a complete solution. I choose to do the cost-effective solution since I was on a time crunch. They were able to efficiently and effectively order the parts necessary from the manufacturer on a timely matter and even went as far as to work afterhours to get my car fixed in time. My 5-Hour drive back to New York couldn't have been any smoother!

Great experience. Juan was fantastic to deal with, very kind and quick. Brought our Sienna in for a tire plug on MLK day 2024, we were down visiting from Boston. Out the door I was in less than 30 min. Price was very fair, will not forget this gem of a shop!

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I haven't been able to get a response reaching out directly so I guess here we go. I went to Arlington Autocare last month to get 4 new tires installed. I asked that after installing the new tires, they put the best of my old tires on as a spare. I paid the extra fee for that, they were nice about it, seemed fine. A while after getting my car and leaving, I noticed that instead of doing that, whoever installed my tires simply left one of my old tires on the car and put one of the new tires I was having installed on as my spare. Obviously not what I had asked--or paid--for. So I ended up with an incomplete tire installation and I needed to have the old tire moved to my spare. I didn't notice this immediately because, honestly, I didn't think I would need to double check, for a tire installation, that the tires were installed where they were supposed to be. Seemed pretty routine, and I've never had any issue like this before. But when I did notice, I contacted them using the email they've provided in response to numerous other negative reviews. I included photos and a copy of my receipt. No response. I followed up a few days later, after I had to go somewhere else to have someone finish the job. Again, no response. So either the email they've offered to others isn't actually monitored, or they just ignored my emails. The valve stem caps were also missing on all my tires. Obviously not as big of a deal, but still annoying--especially in light of the bigger tire issue. I also had another interaction that left a bit of a sour taste, unrelated to the tires. I had been having some trouble with my front driver-side window rolling up, so I had turned on the child locks to keep it from being rolled down until I could have it looked at. Whoever installed the tires also happened to turn off that lock and rolled the window down; when I went to roll it back up, I heard a clunk, the window dropped, and it wouldn't go back up at all. Not sure why my window needed to be opened for a tire installation, which is why didn't cross my mind to let them know not to do that, but so that breaking isn't really on them. However, after that, I called them to see about getting it fixed. I told them what happened, acknowledging I should have let them know about the window, and explained I was pretty sure my window regulator had broke (which turned out to be the case). I asked, if it were my window regulator, if they had a ballpark figure for what it would cost to have that replaced. The person I spoke to told me their diagnostic fee and said he couldn't provide a ballpark without knowing what was wrong. I said that was fine, but asked again for a ballpark IF it were the regulator. He said he couldn't give any figure whatsoever. I understand you can't guarantee prices for repairs--sometimes things end up being worse than was thought, it turns out to be something else, etc. But I feel like you should be able to give an estimate for a pretty common service, and it felt a little scammy to not be able to provide any sort of price estimate until after the $100+ diagnostic. On a positive note, everyone working there was nice when I was there, so there's that.

They offer friendly, fast, and fairly priced inspection services. The cafes and other services nearby make it easy to complete other errands, eat, and shop while you wait. The metro is also within walking distance.
